She has a passion to help people become whole in “spirit, soul, and body” (I Thessalonians 5:23) so that they can discover and fulfill the purposes and plans for their lives.

Jennifer has an extensive history working with clients on both an inpatient and an outpatient basis. She began her career working with juvenile status offenders, as a follow-up counselor with  Teen Challenge’s Springboard Shelter Care in Tucson, Arizona. She also worked at the Tucson Pre-release Center with federal inmates released from prison. She relocated to Phoenix in 1981 to take a position at the Department of Corrections-Perryville. She worked there for 10 years as a Correctional Program Officer, a Psychology Associate working with male sex offenders, and a Correctional Program Supervisor, working with female inmates. She was in line for a promotion for an Assistant Warden position, when she realized that her passion was to work with clients on an outpatient basis in a Christian environment where she was free to integrate Christianity with the therapeutic process. She worked for one year at the Adlerian Family Counseling Center in Litchfield Park, before being offered a position at Samaritan Counseling Center in Scottsdale, Arizona. It was there that she studied with her mentor and founder of the Clinic, Alfred Ells. Under his tutelage, she became adept at the application of therapeutic techniques within a Christian world-view.
